Een overzicht met 390 motorcodes van de motoren die gebruikt zijn in 2.998 Opel modellen. De codes zijn ingedeeld op brandstofsoort. Het samenstellen van dit overzicht is handwerk. Er is dus geen garantie dat ons overzicht compleet is en zonder fouten is.
De oudste motorcode is voor zover wij weten de 15LN. Dit klassieke benzine motorblok is gebruikt in de Opel Olympia, Rekord (Bj. 53-57) vanaf 1953. Het heeft een vermogen van 39 pk (33 kW) met een cilinderinhoud van 1.477 cc.
De nieuwste motorcode in dit overzicht is de M9T 716. Deze moderne benzine motor is gebruikt in de Opel Movano 2.3 DCI vanaf 2020. Deze motor heeft een vermogen van 150 pk (110 kW) met een cilinderinhoud van 2.299 cc.
De krachtigste motorcode in dit overzicht, voor zover het is bijgewerkt is de G9U 730. Deze sterke motor heeft een vermogen van 135 pk (99 kW) met een cilinderinhoud van 2.463 cc. Deze benzine krachtbron is gebruikt in de Opel Vivaro Combi 2.5 DTI 9-Sitzer vanaf 2003.
